Favorite Obsession
Favorite Obsession is a Czech dreampop/shoegaze trio blending melancholic dreamscapes with the rich, vintage textures of ‘60s and ‘70s music. Their 2021 EP Sad Disco became an underground favorite, tracing the blurred lines between desire, identity, and the fluid nature of intimacy through its hazy, immersive sound. Now, with their debut album recorded at Golden Hive Studio under the guidance of producer Amák Golden, known for his work with key names in the Czech alternative scene, they’re set to make their mark beyond home turf. Live, their sound feels less like a performance and more like a fleeting memory—drenched in nostalgia, echoing long after the final note.
